Road To Ruin: From Tejas, With Love.

I’m posting a list of stuff I need to do before I leave DFW in January.  It’s like a bucket list, kinda.  I’ll be making a website soon with it that will most likely be attached to a split Tumblr blog so it can be documented.  Anyways, here’s some stuff:

The Pre-Basic Bucket List

1. Go to the beach [Pacific or Atlantic].
2. Take Mom & Dad to the Cheesecake Factory.
3. Go to the gulf coast.
4. Visit my family and friends in California.
5. Go wakeboarding.
6. Eat a Fire-In-The-Hole Wing from Pluckers.
7. Road trip to somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
8. Make an A in a summer or online course.
9. Drive to Galveston to see Paige.
10. See The Los Angeles Dodgers play in Houston.

12. Go snowboarding.
13. Go to Austin City Limits.
14. Go Kayaking with Rose on Lady Bird Lake.
15. Go camping at Turner Falls with the So-Sick Crew.
16. Party on my birthday like it’s 1999.
17. Skydive.
18. Have a crack at my scuba diving license again.
19. Buy a homeless person a meal.
20. If Daft Punk tours, Go to that. No matter where they play in the country.
21. If The Mars Volta tours, go to that too.
22. Go gambling in Louisiana and Oklahoma.
23. Plant a tree.
24. Figure out where my feelings between someone else go.
25. Do a keg stand.
26. Win something.
27. Visit the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco.
28. Take my little brother somewhere cool.
29. Give my little sister my car.
30. Go to Dublin, Texas to see the Dublin Dr. Pepper plant.
31. Get drunk with my cousin Angie.
32. Go to Vegas with the family.
33. Go swing dancing.
34. Eat some crazy dish.
35. Get three tattoos: My sparrows, the pin-up girl and the flight logo.
36. Hit up a strip club with Jorge.
37. Go to Voodoo Fest, since I won’t be able to go to Mardi Gras.
38. Dress up as something awesome for Halloween. Like a girl Darth Vader.
39. Go to Guadalajara to visit the Grandparents.
40. Go to a gay club.
41. Learn to play golf.
42. Host a soccer match.
43. Party on a boat.
44. Go to a TV Show Taping
45. Go to the Sixth Floor Museum
46. Make a garden for Mom and make sure it’s dog proof.
47. Teach Kailee a trick.
48. Go to the Museum of Weird in Austin
49. Eat out a fancy restaurant.
50. Karaoke at a bar.
51. Start a band.
52. Take my little brother kite-flying.
53. Learn to play my acoustic.
54. Work on getting a 4-pack of abs.
55. Learn to ride a motorcycle.
56. Eat gator meat.
57. Eat rattlesnake meat with Mom [She says snake tastes like Chicken].
58. Eat rabbit.
59. Go to the Renaissance Fair in either Waxahachie, Texas or The Woodlands.
60. Teach Luisito how to swim and succeed at it this time.
61. Try to cook a hard level Emeril Lagasse recipe from the Food Network.
62. Pick out and cook/kill lobster [sad, I know. I’m reminded of when Homer Simpson accidentally cooked his lobster pet lol].
63. Have my IQ tested.
64. Visit 2 state capitals and tour them from the inside.
65. Visit the UT Tower on the inside and take a tour.
66. Couch surf.
67. Visit a vineyard with Nobai.
68. Take Amtrak somewhere.
69. Play crocket again.
70. Learn how to do an axle on the ice.
71. Have Neeralee teach me how to play Cricket.
72. Be on the Rangers mega-TV screen.
73. Go to Dodger Stadium.
74. Go to the Alamo again but this time, tour it from the inside.
75. Have a picnic.
76. Make dough and cook a pizza at home.
77. Go to a UT Football game.
78. Go to Legoland.
79. Make and send a Post Secret postcard. Get blogged.
80. Get published again.
81. Go fishing.
82. Go to the State Fair and ride the Texas Ferris wheel.
83. Go to the Shiner Bock factory and take a tour.
84. Taste-test beer at Rahr & Sons.
85. Have the great McNugget eat off with Rose.
86. Go storm chasing.
87. Go shout from the state Capitol thing.
88. Visit the Branch Davidian site outside of Waco with Jorge.
